Hi there.  I have advanced arthritis and find it very difficult to walk distances, let alone traverse uneven ground.  My young children love fossicking and I'd appreciate advice on where I can take them (Qld, NSW - we are Brisbane-based) where I can basically drive up to a site -and not walk hundreds of metres to get to a fossicking area or have to clamber over rocks or go up and down hills.  We have visited Billabong Blue Park (NSW) in the past but it's only open on Sunday (and there was talk of it being sold in the near future).  We'd like to find some places where we can have access for several days so we can enjoy school holidays.  I was thinking gem fields Qld for a visit but am concerned that we have to hike around fossicking throughout the day to find a decent spot and that's just too exhausting and painful for me; suggestions of tested areas or good parks we can drive straight to the spot and enjoy?

Thank you for your suggestions.
